ROBERT FRANZO, PRINCIPAL

Rob Franzo brings to your project more than 25 years of experience and vision in communication systems and solutions for mobile wireless applications. For the last year he has been leading projects within rural markets related to broadband availability, affordability and adoption, including development modeling and planning, with clients such as the Traverse Bay Economic Development Corporation and its member counties, Downtown Development Authorities and Chambers of Commerce.

With these projects now successfully completed, his focus is on Place Based Branding which makes use of broadband infrastructure.

Previously, he was Director of VoIP Marketing in the Wireless Connectivity Division at Broadcom with recent experience in developing new markets for VoIP/SIP/IMS as well as new applications for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. Prior to joining Broadcom, Rob spearheaded the development of a variety of high volume consumer electronic products for Satellite and Terrestrial Digital Mobile Radio using 2G, 3G and 4G technology during a long tenure at AT&T Microelectronics and Agere Systems. Rob started his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories where he held a variety of technical leadership roles in communication and computing systems. He holds an ASEET from Michigan Technological University, a BSEE from Lafayette College and has completed business management studies at the AT&T School of Business.
